The honest truth: we couldn't trademark our old name — so we built one no one can take away. Báistiez — pronounced “besties” — sounds like home because it is home. Same hands, same heart, same club of women who refuse to wait three hours for confidence.

Our founder

Led by a bestie. Recognized across Connecticut.

By day, Yvonne Zhao works in economic development — and it was that work, supporting Connecticut's small business ecosystem, that just earned her a spot on the Hartford Business Journal's 40 Under 40, one of the state's most respected honors for young business leaders.

Báistiez began as her passion project on nights and weekends. Now it's a real business, with a real address — and we are here to stay.
